G'day! I'm Ell, a freelance digital artist from Down Under. For the most part I'm self-taught and am continuing to build my skills and experience.Here you can find examples of my art and information about commissioning me to create a piece of artwork to meet your vision.

What To Expect

Potential clients will contact me via email. It is a good idea at this point to include the information as outlined below. I will ask any questions I need to clarify the client's vision before confirming price and providing a completion estimate.If we are both in agreement then I will provide a rough sketch for changes/revision and approval. Once this process is done I will send out an invoice.After payment I will proceed with the lineart, which, when submitted for approval, will be the last chance for major revision. After confirmation from the client, any significant changes to the design going forward from this point (aside from colour adjustments) may be subject to an additional fee.When the piece is finished it will be submitted to the client for final appraisal before the full sized file is emailed, marking the commission process as complete.

Information to Provide

When contacting me with a commission request please provide as much information as possible. Such information could and should include things such as:

✨ Your character/subject(s) physical appearance. What is their race? Their gender? What is their physical build? Height? Their colouring (hair, eyes, skintone)? Do they have any notable markings such as scars or tattoos?
✨ Your character/subject(s) style. What are they wearing? Are they wearing any jewellery or accessories? How is their hair styled?
✨ Though not required, a short paragraph about your character's personality can help to capture who they are.
✨ General commission information. What type of commission do you want? Do you want colour? A detailed background? What type of pose/expression do you want to capture?

Always remember that a picture is worth a thousand words. If you have references that you can provide that is relevant to your character/subject (photographs, screenshots, previous art or commissions) then have them prepared as well.Return To Top

Payment, Cancellations & Refunds

Invoices will be sent through PayPal. Once I have agreed to take on a commission I will confirm the price to be paid and, after the sketch has been approved by the client, send out the invoice.I reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or refund a commission for any reason and at any time; whether for inappropriate conduct by a client, I am uncomfortable with the commission, or I feel I cannot bring a client's vision to life.
You may cancel a commission or request a refund, though depending on how far into the creative process this occurs the amount may be reduced to compensate me for work already completed.

Terms of Service

Clients agree that they are 18 years or older.Clients agree that the commission will be (unless discussed otherwise) for personal, non-commercial use only (with appropriate credit) and understand that commercial use will incur an additional fee.Original characters are owned by the client, the art created is owned by myself.
Should the commission contain original characters that are the intellectual property of the client, the final product will not be used for printing by myself. I do, however, retain the right to post it on social media and display the piece in my galleries/portfolios.The final product may not be altered without permission, nor any watermark/signature removed or hidden.By commissioning me clients agree to the above conditions.Return To Top
